iPod at Duke University

There are great things going on a Duke University! Believe or not certain students are using the iPod as a tool for better learning. It keeps communication between the student and the professor.

The iPod in my opinion is a great tool. It helps students to record lectures, take oral notes, and have language-training recordings. Reports show that Duke universities students to a greater interest in lectures, field research, and independent research projects with the iPods. How cool is that.

Final Thought on Article

I must say that my thoughts are still the same. Today’s world is getting away from books and things. At one point of time no one owned a computer in their own house in todays world everyone has a computer and people get online at least two or three times a day.

Classroom Blogging in the United States

Happenings at Hewitt-Trussville Middle School in Trussville, Alabama is home to the principal of this school, Dr. Sunny Williams. Dr.Williams started this blog page to communicate with the students, parents, and others. One of the ways she interact with the students is by asking questions and waiting on their comments or responses. She also feels that this is a good way to continue learning through electronic conversation. Her goal is to lessen the stress factor by creating more time to work with new tools and ways of teaching.

THE ARTICLE

I agree with the author of this newspaper. In today’s world we are more technology bound. I must admit from paying the bills to shopping for clothes, the Internet is my best friend. I use the Internet all of the time not only at work but also in my own home. I can virtually do everything I need to do with a click of a button. From paying the bills to shopping for clothes. In feel that every child is different and to completely understand an assignment a child must watch , listen and do hands-on activities.

Shift Happens (how scary)

All of those facts on the You Tube movie really make you think about what is to come in the future. People in the United States think that we are so advanced and by the sound of the movie we might not be quite as advanced as we think compared to other countries. We need to start looking at these countries and maybe take a hint that we really need to buckle down on our studies, quit watching television and worrying about all of these celebrities and get to what is important getting these children ready for our future!

ACCESS

ACCESS is a website that provides equal access to high quality instruction, quality learning opportunities, to the students in the state of Alabama. It gives students a way to learn using hands on opportunities and multimedia resources; involves 21st century skills and technology to help students and it also provides remediation modules in the following subjects (science, math, reading comprehension, social studies, and language) to assist students in passing the Alabama High School Graduation Exam.
In my opinion ACESS is a great tool I wish that I could have had this website when I was in high school. Now and days students is having a great deal of problem passing these exams with this tool it gives students a way to have some type of guide to pass these exams. And help them to worry about more important things like enjoying their high school years.

It helps students activities and preparation for forthcoming skills. It provides different links such as Alabama Leadership Development, Alabama Math, Science, and Technology (AMSTI), Alabama Reading Initiative (ARI) and this is just a few of the different things you can go to. ALEX is suppose to enhance school leadership among administrators in improving academic achievement for all students. This information a great way to inform all educators and students through the state of Alabama to make themselves better.

Using ALEX In My Classroom !

In my opinon ALEX is a great website. It gives teachers who are brand new in the classroom a chance to learn different lesson plans and find ways that is good for them to teach, or maybe reach their students.ALEX gives teachers a way to prepare themselves for the future and it gives the ability to post lessons and get ideas to teach their students in every grade.
